Abstrakt: Clinicomorphological data on 12 cases of long-term APV (up to 35 days) are reported. The degree of morphological changes was found to vary with CNS compartment. The authors emphasize clinicomorphological alterations in the spinal cord, particularly in the cervical segments, where almost complete absence of cells and reactivity of glial elements were observed.
