| Abstrakt: | Deutman et al. described a butterfly-shaped pigment dystrophy of the fovea that involved six members of one family. It was thought to be an autosomal dominant trait. A 23-year-old white woman was recently examined with similar ocular findings. Twelve members of her family in three generations were examined. No macular abnormalities were present in other members of her family. |
