The utilization of glucose, NFA, triglycerides, cholesterol and alpha-lipoprotein cholesterol as well as the production of lactic acid were studied at different pH levels on the model of isolated lungs of the dog perfused in a special chamber maintaining the conditions close to physiological. The data obtained may be used for the assessment of lung metabolism under these conditions. |
