An examination of patients with trigeminal neuralgia and facial pains of the cervical genesis (in cervical osteochondrosis, bone anomalies of the same localization, the syndrome of musculus scalenus anterior) revealed hemostatic impairments. These changes were generalized in trigeminal neuralgia and regional in the second group of patients, being particularly overt during a pain attack. The data obtained must be taken into account in evaluating the pathogenesis and in administering multiple modality therapy. |
