| Abstrakt: | An adult male with posterior urethral valves who had obstructive urinary symptoms and painless gross hematuria is presented. The diagnosis, development, and treatment of posterior urethral valves is discussed. The importance of also treating the hypertrophied bladder neck is stressed. |
