Abstrakt: Two cases of delusional major depression associated with the syndrome of inappropriate antidiuretic hormone secretion (SIADH) are described. Delusional depression and SIADH may both result from alterations of brain catecholamine neurotransmitters, and may coexist more commonly than previously thought. Implications for clinical practice and future research are discussed.
