Abstrakt: In cats, stimulation of caudate nuclei, putamen, and globus pallidus revealed a weak reactivity and excitability, low lability, inconstancy, and small alterations of the arterial pressure and heart rate as compared with the hypothalamic effects under similar conditions. These data and juxtaposition of hemodynamics and complex behavior singled out the striopallidar nuclei as a separate and relatively independent level of the centra regulation of circulation.
