| Abstrakt: | A technique of ovarian transposition is presented. The major modification of other techniques is the retention of the ovarian vascular pedicle in the retroperitoneum while placing the ovary intraperitoneally. The primary purpose of this technique is avoidance of castration due to radiation in women being treated for carcinoma of the uterine cervix. |
