Abstrakt: Detergent-solubilized DLA class I antigens have been isolated by immunoprecipitation from peripheral blood lymphocytes with an anti-beta 2-microglobulin serum and an alloantiserum. Amino acid composition and NH2-terminal amino acid sequence analysis confirmed that the DLA light chain is identical to dog urinary beta 2-microglobulin, and that the DLA heavy chain shows homology to the major histocompatibility complex class I heavy chains of other species.
