Abstrakt: Proceeding from a radioimmunoassay of various biologically active substances in the blood and urine (ACTH, cortisol, FSH, LH, prolactin, progesterone, estradiol, plasma renin activity and beta 2-microglobulin) of 220 children with glomerulonephritis change of all indices with relation to the type and gravity of glomerulonephritis as well as renal function was revealed. The nature of influence on corticosteroid and immunosuppressive therapy was shown. The authors consider it appropriate to use the determination of biologically active substances in the blood and urine for a more profound estimation of a child's status.
