Abstrakt: Background: Fournier's gangrene secondary to mpox has been scarcely documented in the literature. To provide a clinical-epidemiological description of a case of mpox complicated with Fournier's gangrene treated in a secondary hospital.
Clincal Case: A 20-year-old male HIV infected with dermal lesions on the penis and penile and scrotal oedema developed Fournier's gangrene, for which he was hospitalized. Mpox was confirmed by the laboratory, and Ct values were issued on different days.
Conclusion: The clinical manifestations of acute onset dermal lesions and scrotal and penile oedema are relevant when associated with mpox.
