Abstrakt: We present a genome assembly from an individual Dogs-Mercury Flea Beetle, Hermaeophaga mercurialis (Arthropoda; Insecta; Coleoptera; Chrysomelidae). The genome sequence has a length of 479.40 megabases. Most of the assembly is scaffolded into 9 chromosomal pseudomolecules. The mitochondrial genome has also been assembled and is 16.05 kilobases in length. Gene annotation of this assembly on Ensembl identified 12,633 protein-coding genes.
