Abstrakt: Cervical facet injuries, though less common than other spinal injuries, represent a subset of subaxial cervical spine injuries and can present significant challenges in terms of diagnosis, management, and outcomes. A major concern with cervical facet fracture is identifying instability patterns that may necessitate surgical stabilization. Particularly in cases of cervical facet fracture dislocations, there remains controversy regarding requirements for closed reduction, timing, surgical approach, need for preoperative MRI, and method of fixation. This review article aims to provide a thorough understanding of the etiology, clinical presentation, diagnostic techniques, treatment options, and prognostic factors associated with cervical facet fractures.
