| Abstrakt: | The guideline provides recommendations on the management of adults with anogenital herpes in the UK. Recommendations include diagnostic tests, management of the primary or first episode of anogenital herpes and recurrences, effectiveness of therapy, prophylaxis, and prevention of transmission between partners, as well as patient centred counselling.
