Abstrakt: The anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) is a vital but frequently injured structure. An ACL injury can result in dysfunction, meniscal injuries, and the early onset of osteoarthritis. This article aims to discuss favourable reconstruction techniques through a literature review with consideration for novel methods in order to identify superior methods that provide a patient's return to function. Current surgical options include reconstruction using different types of autografts and allografts.
