Abstrakt: We describe and illustrate Goniozus apoderophagus Gupta & Azevedo n. sp. (Hymenoptera, Bethylidae), an ectoparasitoid of Apoderus tranquebaricus Fabricius (Coleoptera, Attelabidae) associated with leaf rolls of Grewia abutilifolia Vent. ex Juss. from Karnataka, India. The new species is compared with all the possible closely allied species from the Oriental region.
