Abstrakt: Enucleated egg donation is increasingly used for mitochondrial replacement therapy and in assisted conception to improve the success rate for women with recurrent IVF failure. With the possibility of a future increase in demand for enucleated egg donation, it is important to understand the attitudes of the general public and egg donors towards it. This Viewpoint elaborates on the general public's and donors' perspectives on important aspects of enucleated egg donation that need to be explored, and points towards the areas that need to be researched in the future.
