| Abstrakt: | We present a genome assembly from an individual male Epistrophella euchroma (hoverfly, Arthropoda; Insecta; Diptera; Syrphidae). The genome sequence is 523.3 megabases in span. Most of the assembly is scaffolded into 6 chromosomal pseudomolecules, including the X and Y sex chromosomes. The mitochondrial genome has also been assembled and is 17.24 kilobases in length.
