Abstrakt: | The purpose of this article is to highlight an innovative technique in the surgical management of aortic aneurysms in the presence of a horseshoe kidney. The technique involves an anterograde aortic bypass from the distal thoracic aorta to the major renal artery with the primary advantage to a significant reduction in renal ischemia time.
