Abstrakt: | Pericardial effusions are rarely brought to clinical attention in pregnancy. When present, effusions are typically small, clinically silent, and related to fluid shifts in pregnancy. We present a case of a large pericardial effusion during the third trimester of pregnancy with management considerations for labor and delivery.
