Abstrakt: | Objectives: Since its discovery, bla Methods: The whole-genome sequence of E. coli CREC8 was obtained utilising both the Nanopore sequencer and the Illumina NovaSeq 6000 platform. Antimicrobial resistance genes, multilocus sequence typing, and plasmid replicons were identified using the BacWGSTdb server. The phylogenetic relationship between CREC8 and other E. coli strains was investigated using the core genome multilocus sequence typing (cgMLST) strategy. Results: The complete genome sequence of E. coli CREC8 consists of one chromosome and 7 plasmids. CREC8 belongs to ST167 according to the MLST scheme.
