Abstrakt: | Two juvenile red foxes (Vulpes vulpes) were euthanased because of severe nervous signs and paralysis. Detailed postmortem examinations were carried out with bacteriology, histology, and Clostridium botulinum toxin screening, which confirmed botulism as the cause of the clinical signs.
