Fifty-two cases of Guillain-Seze-de Blondin-Walter syndrome are analyzed. The causes of selective sensitivity of peroneal nerves to the impact of various damaging factors are discussed. It is emphasized that along with factors of compression and ischemia, a considerable role is played by topographo-anatomical and histological characteristics of peroneal nerves and by the peculiarities of their evolutional-phylogenetic development. |
