| Abstrakt: | We present a genome assembly from an individual male Glaucopsyche alexis (the green-underside blue; Arthropoda; Insecta; Lepidoptera; Lycaenidae). The genome sequence is 620 megabases in span. The majority (99.87%) of the assembly is scaffolded into 23 chromosomal pseudomolecules, with the Z sex chromosome assembled.
