Abstrakt: Acute lower respiratory viral infections are significant contributors to morbidity/mortality in children less than 2 years of age. In this retrospective study conducted at a major hospital, between 2017 and 2019, it was observed that rhinovirus, respiratory-syncytial-virus and influenza virus are the most frequently detected with the seasonal distribution. Mortality rate was significantly higher in children less than 12 months and significantly increased in males and in those requiring intubation.
