Abstrakt: The mol-ecule of the title compound, [Rh(C 13 H 10 NO 2 ){As(C 6 H 5 ) 3 }(CO)] or [Rh(BPHA)(AsPh 3 )(CO)] (BPHA is the N -benzoyl- N -phenyl-hydroxy-laminate anion), comprises a bidentate N -benzoyl- N -phenyl-hydroxy-laminate anion coordinating through the O atoms to the soft Lewis acid, rhodium(I), and two monodentate ligands, viz . tri-phenyl-arsine and carbonyl. The resulting CO 2 As coordination environment around the central Rh I atom is distorted square planar.=.
