Abstrakt: | Salivary fistula is a common postparotidectomy complication, and eating sour or spicy food ranks among the leading causes. Here we report a rare postparotidectomy salivary fistula case, a 31-year-old female patient who affirmed that she did not eat any irritating foods but admitted that she had been watching food videos for up to 4 hours every day since she left hospital. This case offers a cautionary tale about postparotidectomy precautions. Competing Interests: The authors report no conflicts of interest. (Copyright © 2022 by Mutaz B. Habal, MD.) |
