Abstrakt: In developing countries, child malnutrition is a serious public health problem. Brazil is a country that has several projects to combat hunger and malnutrition in early childhood, but 2021 was a year with the highest number of hospitalizations of children up to 60 months of life in the last 13 years. Factors such as social disparities and the Covid-19 pandemic contributed to this scenario.
