Abstrakt: Overdiagnosis of papillary thyroid hyperplasia which may mimic papillary thyroid carcinoma in fine-needle aspiration and frozen section has a serious impact on the patient. Therefore, it is important to know the difference between them to avoid over or undertreatment.
