Abstrakt: Low back pain is a common ailment in the general patient population. The etiology of a patient's pain profile is multifaceted. Age-related changes to the vertebral column and Modic changes are among the most common culprits for a patient's pain. We present the interesting case of chronic low back pain in a patient who developed a congenital fusion of his lumbar vertebrae.
