Abstrakt: Colleague supervision is an educational model where equal colleagues give each other feedback on a professional activity. We present how colleague supervision can be used in the training of clinical supervisors for medical students. In a course given to specialist training doctors since 2018, participants observe each other when supervising students in the clinic. The course model means that many clinical supervisors can be educated in an efficient manner. Our experience of using colleague supervision is that it works well as to enable participants to practice supervision in the workplace and receive individual feedback, something that is also confirmed in course evaluations. We suggest that the model can be used in other courses as well as being a tool in doctors' continuous development as supervisors.
