During acute experiments on rats with perfusion of the rat jejunum portion in situ it was shown that ethacrynic acid (10(-4) M) and novurit (10(-4) M) suppress glucose and water absorption. Furosemide (2.10(-3) M) and dichlothiazide (2.10(-3) M) failed to influence glucose absorption and to change sodium and water transport under the same experimental conditions. |
