Abstrakt: | Lead macrodislodgement is a rare complication of cardiac implantable electronic devices associated with patient-related risk factors. This paper outlines a case of reel syndrome secondary to device manipulation 3 months after subcutaneous implantable cardioverter-defibrillator implantation and describes the challenges with lead macrodislodgement diagnosis, mechanisms, and management. ( Level of Difficulty: Beginner. ). Competing Interests: The authors have reported that they have no relationships relevant to the contents of this paper to disclose. (© 2021 The Authors.) |
