Abstrakt: The draft genome sequence of Rhodococcus erythropolis VKPM Ac-1659, a putative oil-degrading strain, is reported. This genome sequence may provide better insights into the diversity and evolution of the genes responsible for hydrocarbon degradation in soil microorganisms.
