Abstrakt: Tapping into the secondary coordination environment of mononuclear DyIII-complexes leads to drastic changes in luminescence and magnetism. Visualization of effects induced by stereoelectronics on the opto-magnetic properties was achieved through subtle modifications in the ligand framework.
