Abstrakt: Costal osteochondroma is an uncommon primary benign tumor. Thorough radiological and pathological examinations should be performed to avoid misdiagnosis. Herein, we describe a case of a surgically resected costal osteochondroma in 23-year-old man. The aim of this report is the value of cartilage cap on imaging, leading to a correct preoperative impression. We also present a brief review of existing literature on costal osteochondroma.
