Abstrakt: In this case report, two boys were admitted to an eye department at a hospital in Denmark. They had been playing with a laser pointer, which had been bought abroad during a holiday. The laser was pointed directly into the eyes of both boys eyes, resulting in small retinal marks afterwards. The boys had visual discomfort and a feeling of missing some central vision. On an optical coherence tomography it was possible to capture a small retinal damage affecting the outer segment of the retina but without damage to Bruchs membrane. Both boys recovered from discomfort and were discharged from the department after a four month follow-up.
