Abstrakt: Localized amyloidosis of the urethra is a rare pathological entity that may resemble neoplastic disease. Biopsy is required to make the appropriate diagnosis. Although localized therapy is available for obstructing, symptomatic lesions, asymptomatic lesions may be followed with conservative management and spontaneous regression has been reported. In addition, an appropriate medical evaluation should be performed to determine the presence of systemic amyloidosis.
