Abstrakt: | We describe a 49 year old woman with relapsing-remitting multiple sclerosis (MS) with a suspected severe recurrent attack of myelitis that was ultimately diagnosed as a spinal cord infarction (SCI). This case of SCI in a patient with an established diagnosis of MS highlights the clinical, laboratory, and radiographic characteristics that help distinguish SCI from inflammatory myelitis due to MS.
