Abstrakt: We report the case of a 79-year-old patient with pancytopenia and blue-purple cutaneous lesions on his legs, arms and in the oral cavity. These lesions had been present for several months. Based on a positive HIV test result we made a presumptive diagnosis of cutaneous Kaposi sarcoma. Histological examination confirmed the diagnosis of AIDS-related Kaposi sarcoma.
