Abstrakt: Erythroderma is a rare clinical entity characterized by generalized erythema affecting the whole or most of the body's skin surface. It is associated with a variety of underlying conditions, including preexisting dermatoses, infections, connective tissue disorders, drugs, malignancies, or it may be idiopathic. A case of a 73-year-old man, with a 5-month history of erythroderma, eventually diagnosed with small cell lung cancer is presented. This is the first reported case indicating an association between erythroderma and small cell lung cancer, extending, thus, current knowledge regarding small cell lung cancer-related paraneoplastic manifestations as well as erythroderma's causative factors.
