Abstrakt: | Acute esophageal necrosis (AEN) is a rare condition that impacts the distal esophagus after a vascular insult. In this case report, we describe a patient with multiple comorbid conditions presenting with shock from gastroenteritis who subsequently developed AEN complicated by refractory strictures. |
