Abstrakt: In experiments on albino rats it was shown that a single (50, 100, 200 and 300 mg/kg) and prolonged (200 mg/kg) administration of metacine produced changes in the activity of carbohydrases (alpha-, gamma-amylases and saccharase) of the intestine. A preliminary treatment with the drug weakened changes in their activity observed during stress situations.
