Abstrakt: We here report the case of a 45-year old patient who had injured his right knee because of a road accident. The patient had right comminuted supracondylar femur fracture and ipsilateral patellar tendon rupture. This association is exceptional and no case has been reported in the literature. Targeted clinical and radiological diagnostic tests followed by early and suitable management based on internal osteosynthesis and suitable early functional rehabilitation enabled good long term outcome.
