Abstrakt: This article was designed to report the results of the comprehensive (historical-archival, forensic anthropological, and molecular-genetic) investigation into the holy relics of the righteous martyr Anastasiya of Uglich. The well-reasoned expert conclusion contains the scientifically sound data on the prescription of the martyr's corpse burial, age group and sexual identity of the relics, specific anthropological features of the skeleton, torture instruments, and the immediate cause of death. Taken together, the data thus obtained give evidence that the relics actually belong to one of the well-known saints of the Russian orthodox church.
