Abstrakt: Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) may be frequently associated with asthma in children and may affect asthma control. Proton pump inhibitors (PPI) are commonly prescribed in asthmatic children, despite uncertain efficacy on respiratory symptoms and risk of relevant adverse effects.
