Abstrakt: The fermentation and isolation of a new, non-peptide cholecystokinin antagonist, asperlicin, produced by Aspergillus alliaceus is described. The potent and specific interaction of asperlicin with cholecystokinin receptors was shown using in vitro biochemical assays.
