Abstrakt: Werner syndrome (WS) is one of the premature aging syndromes named progeria. Otto Werner first described it in 1904. It is a rare autosomal recessive condition that begins in late adolescence or early adulthood. It presents with characteristic physical and metabolic abnormalities that result in severe age-associated complications, such as diabetes, hypertension, osteoporosis, myocardial infarction, stroke, and cancer that are normally be seen in the elderly population.
