| Abstrakt: | Postoperative delirium is common in elderly patients. It increases mortality, duration of hospital stay, promotes disability, reduces the quality of life and independence. In this review, we summarize the scientific literature on epidemiology, assessment, pathogenesis, prophylaxis and treatment of deliriumfollowed after orthopedic surgery. |
