Abstrakt: The overarching principle of a value-based health-care strategy is to provide higher quality care at a lower cost. To achieve the goals of a value-based healthcare system is highly dependent on the availability and the effective use of technologies. This article explores the potential for the use of technology to enable value and the key design factors associated with their implementation in a value-based health-care system.
